Austin & Allie's Romantic Barn Wedding Day

Avon, Indiana

There were so many emotional moments throughout Allie & Austin’s wedding day. From the time they read each others letters that they had written to each other, to Allie’s first look with her father, during their prayer together before the ceremony began, while Allie walked down the aisle, multiple times during the ceremony and of course when Austin sang Allie a song with his guitar at the reception. That last part was super special to both of them, because playing Allie a song was one of the things he did for her on their first date!

The decor was so incredibly beautiful, several different vintage-looking centerpieces, a donut bar, a memorial cabinet, wildflower bouquets and more. One thing I thought was super sweet was that Allie wore the ring her father gave her mother when they were married. They also incorporated a mock LED send-off towards the middle of their reception!

Overall, Austin & Allie’s day was filled with tears of joy, beautiful florals & decor, a delicious BBQ and so many family members & friends there to support them. But aside from all that, the thing that I loved most about working with Austin & Allie was that they are so laid back and easy going. A wedding day can be a very busy day and a bit stressful, sometimes we get off track with time and things don’t always go as planned. But Austin & Allie still kept a smile on their face and just went with the flow, they didn’t let being a little behind ruin their day (partly because they were too busy gazing into each others eyes constantly, lol!). To me this shows that this day was not really about the decor, the pictures/videos, the dress, the jewelry or any of that. It was 100% clear that all that was truly important to the two of them was that they were getting married and they were surrounded by who they loved. These two prove that the marriage is definitely more important to them than the wedding day, which is how it should be!

Congratulations to these two love birds who are SO very in love. Scroll down to see some of my favorite shots from their best day ever!
