Michael & Carrie Mann 2.16.2019

Carrie emailed me in November of last year inquiring about wedding photography. She noted that the photography was one of the most important things on her list because (besides the marriage) it was the only thing that would last forever, something they could continuously be able to look back and remember the day from. She is SO right!

I loved how Carrie described the vision of her wedding day in her email to me. She’s a “country-girl from California and he is a proud southern redneck.” She wanted to blend their personalities together on their wedding day and envisioned serving guests beer and wine from a trough to enjoy during the ceremony, giving out antique goblets they had been collecting forever as wedding favors and dancing the night away with their wedding band: My Yellow Rickshaw.

Showing up to their beautiful wedding venue, Sylvan Cellars Event Center, the venue looked exactly how Carrie had described she wanted it. It was absolutely perfect and they did so well bringing their vision to life. I had so much fun capturing all the little details Carrie incorporated, as well as the big and small moments throughout the day. Carrie and Michael are such a sweet, fun-loving couple and I would photograph their day all over again given the chance!

The Sentimental Details:

On the wedding day, Carrie’s parents gifted her with a locket charm bracelet that included photos of her grandparents from their wedding days. She also incorporated flowers from her mothers wedding dress into her adorable denim heals! Keep scrolling to find these absolutely beautiful sentimental details!
